The hearth (10`) has a combustion chamber (11) closed at a front open side using a partially transparent plate (12), which is surrounded with circumferential edges of the plate by a frame. A frame profile part (40) is arranged around the circumferential edges of the plate, and is formed from a U-profile encompassing the circumferential edge. A side of the U-profile turned away from the chamber has minimum length dimensions, and a side of the U-profile facing the chamber is provided with a reinforcing unit (40b). |
