A method and a system for notifying arrival in destination are provided to transmit a message of notifying the arrival of a user to terminals of preset internal friends, thereby enabling the user to quickly notify the arrival of the user. A method for notifying arrival in destination comprises the following steps of: storing a contact address, which the user of a mobile terminal sets up, with mobile terminal information in a database(S20); receiving the foreign location registration information of the mobile terminal from GLR(Gateway Location Register)(S30); searching for the contact address information, which the user of the location-registered mobile terminal sets up, from the database(S40~S50); and transmitting a message of notifying the arrival of the user to the searched contact address(S70).
