A backlight unit, and a liquid crystal display device comprising the same are provided to bond a mold frame with a PCB(printed circuit board) by placing a PCB bonding sheet at a PCB outlet for preventing the liquid crystal panel from being separated from the mold frame. A backlight unit(100) comprises a light source(110), a light guide plate(120), optical sheets(130), a mold frame(140), a PCB(printed circuit board) outlet(142) and a PCB bonding sheet(160). The light guide plate, which is placed at the side of the light source, guides the light projected from the light source to the liquid crystal panel. The optical sheets are placed above the light guide plate. The mold frame covers the mold frame and the optical sheets. The PCB outlet provides an outlet path of the PCB by opening one side of the mold frame. The PCB bonding sheet, placed at the PCB outlet, bonds the PCB. The backlight unit includes a panel receiving protrusion(146), and a panel bonding sheet(150).
