<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for plotting rod-like effect for plotting a rod-like effect at high speed with a little computational complexity. SOLUTION: This method has a perspective transformation process (S2) for performing the perspective transformation of the coordinate values of one end and the other end of the rod-like effect and the diameters of the rod-like effect at each of the positions onto two-dimensional(2D) coordinates on the basis of the coordinate values of such one end and the other end in the direction of the depth, a polygon plotting area calculation process (S3) for calculating a polygon plotting area on these 2D coordinates on the basis of the inclination of a line through one end and the other end, to which the perspective transformation is applied, on the 2D coordinates and the diameters at the positions of one end and the other end, to which the perspective transformation is applied, and circular pattern plotting processes (S3 and S4) for expressing the rod-like effect by deforming and plotting texture having a circular pattern corresponding to the polygon plotting area calculated by the polygon plotting area calculation process.</p> |
