摘要 A method for manufacturing the extract of antibiotic plants and herbs is provided to increase the content of antibiotics in the plant and herb extract by using supercritical fluid extraction instead of organic solvent extraction, so that antibiotic effects of the plant and herb extract are enhanced. A method for manufacturing the extract of antibiotic plants and herbs such as oregano, Chamaecyparis obtuse, Cinnamomum loureirii or Scutellaria baicalensis comprises the steps of: (1) pulverizing antibiotic plants or herbs; (2) inserting the pulverized plants or herbs to a supercritical fluid extractor; (3) introducing the supercritical fluid such as carbon dioxide to the supercritical fluid extractor through an heat exchanger to obtain the extract of plants or herbs; (4) separating the mixture of supercritical fluid and the extract of plants or herbs in a vacuum separator through a vacuum valve; and (5) circulating the separated supercritical fluid to a storage tank, recycling the supercritical fluid together with the supercritical fluid supplemented from the outside under reduced pressure by a pump and recovering the separated extract of plants or herbs. Further, a temperature of the supercritical fluid is 35 to 80 ‹C and a pressure of the supercritical fluid is 100 to 500 bar.
