A fire alarm system and a fire alarm method are provided to enable a user to accurately detect a fire ignition point by using signals from a photo detector, a gas sensor, and a temperature sensor. A fire alarm system includes a temperature sensor(130), a controller(140), a memory(150), a communication interface(180), an audio portion(160), and a display unit(170). The controller compares signals from an image signal, a gas sensor, and the temperature sensor with reference values, and determines whether a fire breaks out. The memory stores the reference values in a database. The communication interface is connected to an external device through a network and communicates with the external device. The audio portion provides a voice signal. The display unit outputs an alarm message. |
