摘要 An apparatus for reducing nonuniformity on a screen in a display system using an optical diffractive modulator is provided to enable the optical diffractive modulator to perform optical modulation for each incident light by the control of an optical diffractive modulator and generate and radiate refractive light, thereby reducing visual displeasure by reducing the screen nonuniformity. An apparatus(310) for reducing nonuniformity on a screen comprises a video input unit(300), a video mixing unit(303), and an optical modulator driving circuit(308). The video input unit receives video data form the outside. The video mixing unit detects a single color region from the video data and mixes a predetermined video in the detected single color region, and outputs the mixed video. The optical modulator driving circuit generates a driving voltage for driving an optical diffractive modulator according to the video data outputted from the video mixing unit to drive the optical diffractive modulator.
