An array substrate of a liquid crystal display device is provided to overlap capacitance compensating parts with a common electrode for compensating for the difference of parasitic capacitance between a gate electrode and a source electrode, thereby minimizing difference of a level shift voltage. An array substrate of a liquid crystal display device comprises a data line(113), first and second pixels(111,112), first and second gate lines(114,115), first and second thin film transistors(116,117), a common electrode, first and second capacitance compensating parts(160,161), and first and second pixel electrodes. The gate lines are installed at upper and lower rows of the pixels. The thin film transistors include first and second gate electrodes(120,123) connected with the first and second gate lines. One side of the common electrode is installed around the first and second thin film transistors on the first and second pixels. The capacitance compensating parts are extended from the thin film transistors and overlapped with the common electrode. The pixel electrodes are installed by placing protective films on the first and second pixels. |
