<p>The method involves applying a honeycomb material (22) on a lower cover plate. An upper cover plate (21) is applied on the honeycomb material, so that production of a light weight building plate (20) in a continuous production process is implemented with an individual production movement device. The cover plates are applied to the production process by a roll. A longitudinal frame rail (24) is applied on the lower cover plate, and the upper cover plate is applied on the frame rail.
