A plasma display panel is provided to decrease a manufacturing cost of the PDP by removing a black stripe layer from the PDP(Plasma Display Panel). First and second substrates(10,20) are opposed to each other. A barrier rib(12) is arranged between the first and the second substrates to define discharge cells and colored by a first color. An address electrode(13) is elongated on the second substrate in a first direction. A display electrode(24) is elongated on the second substrate in a second direction normal to the first direction. Fluorescent layers(18) are formed in the respective discharge cells. A dielectric layer(16) covers the display electrode and colored by a second color. Plural light guides(40) are formed, such that an inlet area on the second substrate is greater than an outlet area. An external ray reflection preventing member(30) is formed between the light guides and colored by a third color, which is destructively mixed with the first and second colors.
