A reset apparatus of a reflective part in an optical diffractive modulator is provided to initialize a location of an upper reflective part through a convenient method, thereby suppressing abnormal operations generated by hysteresis characteristics of the optical diffractive modulator. In an optical diffractive modulator used in a display system for generating continuous images by processing diffraction light generated in the optical diffractive modulator, the optical diffractive modulator comprises the followings. A controller outputs a reset control signal when the diffraction light, emitted from the optical diffractive modulator disposed in the display system, is present in a first scan time domain on a screen of the display system. A reset driving circuit initializes the optical diffractive modulator when the reset control signal is applied from the controller.
