A continuously variable transmission having a pressure unit is provided to effectively deliver operation power in the CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission) at a high speed by preventing a sliding phenomenon in the CVT. A continuously variable transmission includes a rotation rotor, a counter rotor, and a pressure unit. The pressure unit includes a first rotating unit(210), a second rotating unit(220), a proportional pressure unit, and a constant pressure unit. The first rotating unit is connected to a rotation shaft and includes plural container grooves along a circumferential thereof. The second rotating unit is coupled with the rotation rotor to be opposed to the first rotating unit and includes plural container grooves corresponding to the first rotating unit. The proportional pressure unit is arranged between the container grooves of the first and second rotating units. When one of the rotating units rotates, the proportional pressure unit generates a perpendicular counter force to pushes the second rotating unit against the first rotating unit. The constant pressure unit includes a compression spring and pushes the rotation rotor against the counter rotor by using an elastic force of the compression spring irrespective of a rotation speed of the rotation rotor.
