A spool for multi-step winding is provided to reduce defects by preventing bending phenomenon in end line treatment of a steel cord, and to save manufacturing costs by reducing the number of clips for treating an end line of the steel cord. A spool for multi-step winding comprises a pair of main penetrating holes(31,32), fixing clips(34,35) and an assistant penetrating hole(33). The main penetrating holes opposite to each other are equipped in a circumference portion. The fixing clips opposite to each other are coupled to an outer surface of the circumference portion of each flange(30). The assistant penetrating hole is formed in the circumference portion of the flange between one side of the main penetrating hole and one side of the fixing clip.
