<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing driving device for an opening/closing body for a vehicle capable of opening/closing the opening/closing body by both a motor and manual operation while attaining the miniaturization and weight reduction of the device itself by efficiently increasing a rotational force of a motor according to a high reduction ratio. <P>SOLUTION: The rotation of a rotating shaft 16A of a motor 16 is outputted through a worm gear 13 and a worm wheel 12 to drive the opening/closing body provided at the vehicle. In this constitution, a clutch 17 is provided between the rotating shaft 16A and the worm gear 13. In the connected state of the clutch 17, the opening/closing body can be driven to open/close by the motor, and in the cutoff state of the clutch 17, the rotation of the worm gear 13 following the manual opening/closing of the opening/closing body is allowed, and the rotating position of the worm gear 13 corresponding to the opening/closing position of the opening/closing body is detected by a sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
