A system and a method for obtaining an electronic coupon with a mobile terminal in an offline environment are provided to enable a customer to present/use an electronic coupon in an online/offline member shop by receiving a coupon image captured through an embedded digital camera or a serial number manually inputted from the customer, and transmitting/storing the electronic coupon corresponding to the received coupon image or serial number to a server or the mobile terminal. An electronic coupon server(100) registers/manages a serial number, a type, contents, and use condition of an electronic coupon such as a discount coupon, a gift certificate, points, a ticket, and a token by using a database. An offline medium(300) such as a newspaper, a magazine, a leaflet, a package box, a receipt, and a slip is distributed by including a title, an image, an explanation, the serial number, and a barcode corresponding to the registered electronic coupon. A mobile terminal(200) transmits the electronic coupon image captured with an embedded digital camera or the manually inputted serial number of the electronic coupon to the electronic coupon server. An offline/online member shop(400) applies the electronic coupon to corresponding transaction by the mobile terminal, a credit card, or a customer ID presented from the customer. |
