摘要 An optical compensatory film, a polarizer and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) are provided to optically compensate liquid crystal cells in an OCB(Optical compensatory Bend) and ECB(Electrically Controlled Birefringence) mode and prevent light leakage to obtain high contrast. An optical compensation film includes a first optical anisotropic layer(31A,31B) and a second optical anisotropic layer(33A,33B). The first and second optical anisotropic layers are formed of a composition including a liquid compound. The phase-lagging axis of the first optical anisotropic layer and the phase-lagging axis of the second optical anisotropic layer are not perpendicular to and parallel with each other. The value obtained by dividing a retardation value of the first optical anisotropic layer, which is measured from a direction tilted by 40‹ from the normal of the first optical anisotropic layer to the direction of the film plane using light of 55nm, by a retardation value measured from a direction opposite to the direction in which the retardation value is measured using light of 550nm is larger than 2 and smaller than 7.
