A light unit and a display device using the same are provided to emit the light of the light unit through a case of a portable terminal, thereby performing a decoration function without additional LED(Light Emitting Diode). A light source generates light. A light guide member(140) receives the generated light through an incident light unit(A1), guides, distributes and emits the light. A receiving vessel receives the light source and the light guide member, and exposes one or more end parts except the incident light unit of the received light guide member to the outside. In the receiving vessel, a guide groove is formed to expose the end parts of the light guide member to the outside. |
