摘要 A system and a method for an underwater image service are provided to connect underwater video cameras to a data transceiving device installed on the water by a wired/wireless underwater modem and enable the data transceiving device to offer a video to the Internet, a wired/wireless broadcasting station, or a portable phone in real time through a common wired/wireless repeater. An underwater video camera module(27) is positioned in underwater to acquire an underwater video signal. A data transceiving device(23) is connected to the underwater video camera module through a wired/wireless underwater modem and is installed on the water or the ground to transmit an underwater video signal to a main server. An underwater video signal processor is built in the data transceiving device or the underwater video camera module, constitutes the underwater video signal transmitted from the underwater video camera in a frame unit, and transmits the underwater video signal to the main server. A DB(Database) stores the underwater video signal. The main server transmits the transmitted underwater video signal to a necessary place in real time or edits and transmits the transmitted underwater video signal.
