Nail clippers are provided to prevent a cut nail fragment from being scattered by closing upper and lower depressions with each other in the act of cutting the nail, and then by using the both depression as a collecting container for the cut nail fragment, and to reduce a production cost by increasing a stiffness of upper and lower plate bodies. Nail clippers include: an upper plate body(20), having such a proper length that a user holds it by using one hand, and comprising a cutting edge(22), a supporting-axis hole(24), adjacent to the cutting edge, and a concave depression(26) which is formed like a spoon from a cutting edge side to the inside of the upper plate body; a lower plate body(30), having also such a proper length that he/she holds it by using one hand, and comprising a cutting edge(32), a supporting-axis hole(34), adjacent to the cutting edge, and a concave depression(36) which is formed corresponding to that of the upper plate body, wherein the other sides, opposite to the cutting edge of the both plate bodies, are connected to each other by a spot welding; a supporting axis(60), having a hook(62) and a flange(63), and passed through the supporting-axis holes of the both plate bodies; and a lever(70), having a hook hanger(72) and a lever support(74), and arranged on the upper plate body so as to carry out a levering action by means of the supporting axis. |
