A method for paying for goods using a hot code is provided to enable a user to pay for the goods conveniently in anywhere by capturing a hot code of the goods using a camera embedded in a mobile terminal and reduce hacking risk by using no PC in a payment process. A registered user captures a hot code attached to goods using a camera embedded in a mobile terminal to pay for the goods. A menu for using a hot code payment service is displayed on a screen of the mobile terminal. An authentication server authenticates the user by receiving an encoded mobile number and hot code from the mobile terminal when the user connects to the service. An amount to be paid is displayed on the screen by transmitting authenticated user/hot code data to a hot charging server. The user confirms the displayed payment amount and inputs a preset password, and the inputted password is encoded/transmitted to the authentication server. The mobile terminal receives a success message including payment details when the encoded password is authenticated in the authentication server.
