摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a color filter for a transflective color liquid crystal display device capable of reducing a radial stripe-shaped nonuniformity that occurs on each cell color filter in processing a work substrate with multiply applied cell color filters to manufacture a color filter for a transflective color liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: Black matrices 21 and black frames 22 are formed on a glass substrate 11, and transparent pattern layers 31 and transparent layers 32 are formed on prescribed positions between the black matrices 21. Red photosensitive resist is applied by a spinner, etc., to form a red photosensitive layer, and by performing a series of patterning processing such as pattern exposure and development, red pixels 41R each consisting of a colored pixel 41t in a transmission area and a colored pixel 41r in a reflection area are formed between the black matrices 21.
