Adjacent cells are connected by_a conducting layer f which may be of conducting rubber. The layers f are connected at e to insulating frames h which are bent upwardly at their edges as shown in Fig. 1, each frame being connected by welding or adhesive to an adjacent frame. The battery may be enclosed in a wrapping of polyvinyl chloride applied in the form of solution. |
