A voice alarm system and an alarm method using a robot are provided to make the robot alarm at the specific alarm time set by a user, in various voices and to keep the eyes of the robot opened. A voice alarm system using a robot is composed of a voice input unit(10) inputting the alarm time provided as voice by a user; a sentence/voice data storing unit(18) storing plural voice data corresponding to plural alarm sentences, respectively; a clock operation unit(22) counting the time; a control unit(24) communicating with the clock operation unit to check the present time, having access to the sentence/voice data storing unit at the alarm time provided from the voice input unit, to output voice data corresponding to the specific alarm sentence, and opening the eyes of the robot; a voice output unit(26) receiving voice data outputted from the control unit if reaching the voice alarm time, and outputting the correspondent voice to the user; and a robot eyelid motion driving unit(28) blinking the eyes of the robot at the voice alarm time according to the control of the control unit.
