COLOR-SHIFTING INK AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A discoloration ink is provided to allow identification of counterfeit or forgery of documents by allowing a user to observe a color change from a light yellow color to a light blue color at a mark portion. A discoloration ink comprises: 70-30 wt% of a resin blend comprising 57-69.3 wt% of urethane, 0.6-3.5 wt% of a plasticizer and 30-40 wt% of a white pigment; and 30-70 wt% of an acidic solution containing 10-15 wt% of mattifying agent powder and 85-90 wt% of BTB(bromothymol blue) solution. The plasticizer includes dioctyl phthalate or liquid paraffin. The white pigment includes titanium dioxide.
