THE NOVEL M CELL TARGET PEPTIDE

A novel M cell target peptide is provided to induce absorption of macromolecular materials and mucosal immune response by passing through the M cell in the mucous membrane of small intestine without passage through an epithelia cell layer of small intestine, so that the peptide is useful for improvement of absorption efficiency of oral vaccines in biomembrane. An in vitro phage display method comprises the steps of: forming a phage display peptide library; establishing the in vitro M cell model; screening the M cell target peptides; analyzing the in vitro phage transcytosis; identifying the peptide sequence of the screened M cell target peptides; retesting the M cell target candidate peptides; and selecting an M cell target peptide having the amino acid sequence of CKSTHPLSC. An oral vaccine transfer system contains the M cell target peptide capable of passing through the M cell in the mucous membrane of small intestine.
