<p>A storage device for storing encoded contents and a method for providing the encoded content are provided to offer a user a plurality of encoded contents having relation to a license with one packaged license by embedding a decoding key in the storage device storing the encoded contents and the packaged license, and playing the encoded contents with synchronization between the embedded decoding key with the decoding key downloaded from the network. A storing part(410) stores information for the encoded contents and a license package table, and an authenticator(420) authenticates the encoded contents by using the information stored in the storing part. A decoder(430) decodes the encoded contents through authentication. The license package table packages and stores the licenses according to a user request by using at least one of copyrighter information, contents information, and a package number. The license package table is provided through the online/offline network and performs the synchronization among the provided licenses by using a synchronization program.</p> |
