The coupling arrangement is for use between a traction vehicle and a trailer and forms part of the brake system of the vehicles. It incorporates a first conduit or hose system which conducts air at an operating pressure under the effect of a manover unit such as a foot pedal or similar. Air is thus fed from a pressure source for activation of the brake equipments of the vehicles. A second conduit or hose system conducts air at a feed pressure from a pressure source which holds the trailer emergency brake system in the inactive position. Two flexible hose channels are integrated as an entity, with two flexible hose channels, of which a first leads pressurized air at variable operational pressure to the brake system. The first channel is enclosed in or encloses one or more individual second hose channels which lead pressurized air at a feed pressure corresponding to the brake system.
