An extension pipe for a vacuum cleaner is provided to supply power efficiently by contacting power terminals with a power pipe to be slid on the external surface of the power pipe, even if the length of an extension pipe is changed. An extension pipe for a vacuum cleaner comprises suction guiding pipes(50,52) guiding suction of air and impurities, a power supply pipe(60) installed at one side of the suction guiding pipes to supply power. The power supply pipe consists of power terminals(62), a power pipe(64) slid with the power terminals, and power cases made of double cases to be slid with respect to each other. The power cases include an external case(66) placed at the outside, and an internal case(68) selectively slid inside the external case. The external case and the interval case have the power terminals and the power pipe. The power terminal surrounds the external surface of the power pipe and has an internal projection contacted to the external surface of the power pipe.
