A bar-type portable terminal is provided to meet the requirement of a user and use various supplemental functions more efficiently by additionally installing a special LCD module and enabling a user to listen to music on stereo. A bar-type portable terminal(100) comprises a main body(13), the first slide cover(11), the second slide cover(12), and a slave LCD module(131). A main LCD module is installed at the front side of the main body(13). The first and second slide covers(11,12) are installed so as to be slid along the length of the portable terminal(100) at the rear side of the main body(13). The slave LCD module(131), installed at the rear side of the main body(13), is exposed when the first and second slide covers(11,12) are opened. The first and second slide covers(11,12) respectively are spread right and left on the basis of the center of the slave LCD module(131).
