An upper substrate for a liquid crystal panel, the liquid crystal panel using the same, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form micro lens arrays on an upper substrate directly for refracting the lights projected to light confining areas to pixel areas, thereby enabling brightness of the liquid crystal panel to be increased. An upper substrate for a liquid crystal panel comprises a transparent substrate(10), multiple micro lens, a space layer(50), and a transparent electrode(60). The micro lenses have higher refractive indexes than the transparent substrate, and are deposited on the transparent substrate with lens shapes repeatedly. The space layer is deposited on the transparent substrate or the micro lens and formed with resin series. The transparent electrode is laminated on the space layer. The space layer ha glass transition temperature of more than 250‹C. A high refractive layer(20) has higher refractive indexes than the transparent substrate and is deposited on one surface where the micro lenses are formed. |
