A creel arrangement wherein a plurality of bobbin holding elements are provided for detachably receiving bobbins, the elements depending from a support or frame and ending in different horizontal planes is characterized by adjacent bobbin holding elements being of different lengths, the difference in length between the shorter and the longer elements equalling at least half the height of a bobbin to be carried by the element. As shown long bobbin holders 1 are arranged adjacent short bobbin holders 2 both types being suspended from a creel frame member 5 by nuts 4. The long and short holders may be arranged alternately in rows longitudinally of a creel board or across the creel board. They may also be arranged in a staggered formation for ease of handling and observing. |
