A plasma display panel is provided to generate a stable discharge, even when a front substrate is not aligned with a rear substrate, by forming at least one of first and second electrodes into the stripe shape. A plasma display panel includes a front substrate(101), a rear substrate(111), and a barrier rib(112). First and second electrodes, which are parallel to each other, are formed on the front substrate. A third electrode, which crosses the first and second electrodes, is formed on the rear substrate. The barrier rib defines discharge cells between the front and rear substrates. At least one of the front and rear substrates contains Na2O higher than 10w%. At least one of the first and second electrodes has a stripe shape.
