DATA SLOT ALLOCATION METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING UNCOMPRESSED AV DATA

A method for allocating a data slot for transmitting uncompressed AV(Audio Video) data is provided to improve data transmission efficiency and transmission stability when wirelessly transmitting mass data. A method for allocating data slots for transmitting uncompressed AV data comprises the following steps of: transmitting a first super frame during a first beacon period; receiving a frame requesting a data slot from at least one wireless device belonging to a network within a data slot reservation period included in the first super frame; transmitting a response frame to the frame to at least one wireless device within the data slot reservation period; and transmitting a second super frame, including a data slot allocated to at least one wireless device, during a second beacon period. Communication with the wireless device is performed through a millimeter wave channel. Within the first and second super frames, control sections(114a~114c) divided into plural sections are distributably arranged between plural data slots(115,116,117).
