An apparatus for manufacturing a coil spring is provided to manufacture two coil springs through one process by transferring a coil spring workpiece produced from one heating furnace to two mandrels spaced apart from each other in a predetermined distance and winding the coil spring workpiece around the mandrels. An apparatus for manufacturing a coil spring comprises: a body(20); two mandrels(40) which are disposed in the body such that one ends of the mandrels face each other, and which are rotatably installed such that a coil spring workpiece(2) can be wound around outer peripheral surfaces of the mandrels; first motors(50) respectively disposed at the other ends of the two mandrels to provide the mandrels with rotational drive force; guide roller parts(60-1,60-2) that are movable in the length direction of the mandrels to guide the coil spring workpiece such that the spring workpiece is wound around the mandrels; and second motors(72-1,72-2) for providing the guide roller parts with power to move the guide roller parts. The apparatus further comprises chucks(90) installed at one ends of the mandrels, and first cylinders installed on one ends of the mandrels perpendicularly to the length direction of the mandrels. The guide roller parts includes guide rollers(62-1) for guiding the coil spring workpiece, second cylinders(64-1) for moving the guide rollers vertically, moving units(70-1,70-2) having screw shafts and guide shafts, and third cylinders for reciprocating the guide rollers along the guide shafts.
