A method and an apparatus for preventing corrosion in a pipe for a fire extinguishing system are provided to prevent corrosion in piping by adding an anticorrosive to extinguishing water in a wet type fire extinguishing system or forming an anticorrosive film at an inside of the piping and drying the inside of the piping in a dry type fire extinguishing system. A method for preventing corrosion in a pipe for a wet type fire extinguishing system, filling the pipe with extinguishing water and opening an injection head and injecting the extinguishing water when a fire breaks out, comprises the steps of: filling a branch pipe(10) and a cross pipe(12) with test extinguishing water and pressurizing the extinguishing water with a pump, to detect leakage of the branch pipe and the cross pipe after installing an extinguishing piping; opening a drain valve(18) and exhausting the test extinguishing water, after pressurizing the extinguishing water; closing the drain valve; opening a valve(13) again and filling the pipes with pressurized water; and injecting an anticorrosive to the pressurized water with an anticorrosive injector(17) during filling the pipes with pressurized water.
