Efficiency test equipment for a thrust ball bearing of a hermetic compressor is provided to use qualified thrust ball bearings for the hermetic compressor to reduce problems of products. Efficiency test equipment for a thrust ball bearing of a hermetic compressor includes a drive part(10) and a control box(60). The drive part includes a vessel(19) having a rotary shaft inside, a stator(18) installed in the vessel to generate a magnetic field, a rotor having a thrust ball bearing, thrust washers disposed at both sides of the bearing, and a fixing cap couples the rotary shaft to the upper part of the rotor. The control box includes a sensor for measuring the RPM of the drive part and controls power of the drive part.
