<p>An air conditioner, an air conditioning system, an air sterilization unit, and an air sterilization system are provided to prevent propagation of germs by long deactivation of the air conditioner, drying the air sterilization unit, and to periodically clean the air sterilization unit, even when the air conditioner is operated for 24 hours. An air conditioner(100) comprises an indoor unit for performing indoor air conditioning. The indoor unit comprises an indoor heat exchanger(21), a blower unit(22) introducing indoor air into the indoor unit, and blowing the air heat-exchanged by the indoor heat exchanger to the indoor space, an electrolytic water supply unit(5) producing electrolytic water containing active oxygen species by electrolyzing water containing predetermined ion species, an air sterilization unit(4) receiving the electrolytic water containing active oxygen species and making contact between the electrolytic water with the introduced air for sterilizing the air, and a control unit controlling the process of producing the electrolytic water. The electrolytic water supply unit is able to supply electrolytic water with a concentration higher than the electrolytic water supplied for air sterilization, to the air sterilization unit based on a signal from the control unit. A cleaning operation mode is provided to supply electrolytic water with higher concentration in a predetermined time period.</p> |
