An apparatus and a method for generating fuel form forest residue are provided to facilitate conveying, storing, and burning of biomass and increase the amount of heat generated through burning of the biomass. Fuel is generated in a palletizer(35) by sending various kinds of forest residue from a first input unit(10) to a pulverization unit(12), pulverizing the forest residue to generate a first raw material in the pulverization unit, and performing middle processes on the first material. A second input unit(20) is simultaneously connected to a downstream side of the first input unit and a mixer(15). The second input unit contains a second raw material, which is mixed into the first raw material. A carbonizer(22) is installed at a downstream side of the mixer to receive a middle raw material. The carbonizer carbonizes the middle raw material at a high speed under a high temperature. A pulverizer(26) is installed at a downstream side of the carbonizer to receive the carbonized raw material. The pulverizer pulverizes the middle raw material, which is cooled through a cooler(24), into fine particles. A third input unit(30) is simultaneously connected to a downstream side of the pulverizer and the mixer. The third input unit receives a third raw material, which is mixed to the pulverized middle raw material particles. Further, the carbonizer controls an air-supporting part(16) and a gas-supporting part(18) in order to maintain a temperature ranged from 400 to 700 ‹C. |
