An oil filter assembly is provided to separate a filter element from a housing completely when separating the plastic cap by doubly locking the plastic cap using a first and a second locking structure. An oil filter assembly comprises a first locking structure, and a second locking structure. The first locking structure is composed of helixes(43,45) which is formed at a plastic cap(12) and a center pipe(16) respectively and connected each other. The first locking structure locks the plastic cap with the center pipe. The second locking structure is formed between the plastic cap and a filter element(14) and locks the plastic cap with the filter element. The plastic cap is doubly locked with the center pipe and the filter element by the first and the second locking structures. In the second locking structure, a protruded sill(40) is integrally formed at an outer surface of a sealing cap(34), and allows a combining sill(38) of the plastic cap to be hung to the protruded sill to lock the plastic cap with the filter element locking.
