A power detection type filter tuning circuit is provided to reduce a swing level of a pre-set reference signal by detecting a power level of the reference signal and tuning a filter through the detection signal. A master filter unit(110) filters a pre-set reference signal at a frequency band determined according to a control signal. A power detecting unit(120) detects power of an output signal of the master filter unit(110). A reference level unit(130) converts the reference signal into a signal having a power level of a pre-set rate. A comparing unit(140) compares the power level of a signal from the power detecting unit(120) and the power level of a signal from the power level unit(130) and outputs the control signal corresponding to difference between the power levels. A slave filter unit(150) filters a reception signal at a frequency band determined according to the control signal from the comparing unit(140).
