A chestnut peeler with a peeling member capable of peeling only outer shells with a knife edge without damage is provided to effectively peel a quantity of chestnuts within a short time and to maximally reduce the damage of inner shells while rendering the knife edge easier to change. A chestnut peeler(100) comprises: a case(110) of a cylindrical shape with an inlet port(113) at the top surface and an outlet port(116) at the side; a bulkhead plate(130) to divide chestnuts which are entered through the inlet port; a bulkhead plate driving member(140) to rotate the bulkhead plate; a peeling member(150) to peel the chestnuts between the bulkhead plate; a peeling member driving member(170) to rotate the peeling member; and a separation member(190) with a separation duct(191) and a suction device(195). The case contains a cover(112) and a body(115) which are assemble and disassembled by a locking member(120). |
