The invention relates to a method for stimulating the atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) by applying pulse magnetic field with a pulse component with a frequency of the pulsations 150 Hz, magnetic induction (B) from 0 to 0.25 T, and ripple ratio (P) from 0.1 to 133 percent. Along with increasing the polymerization rate, the method allows to increase the molecule mass and to improve the molecule-mass distribution of the polymers and block copolymers obtained. The advantage of the method consists in the controllable use of the unknown until now combined effect of the magnetic induction B and the ripple ratio P of the resultant magnetic field obtained by applying to a permanent magnetic field of a pulse component with regulated frequency. The method can be used for accelerated industrial synthesis of polymers in block and in a solution for the purposes of medicine, ophthalmology, the pharmaceutical and electronic industries, as well as in other fields of technology using polymeric materials with strictly defined properties, and it can be realized with simple technical means.
