The process involves displacing a piston towards a setting position by driving and evacuating compressed air from two pressure chambers situated on opposing sides of the piston. The compressed air in the chambers is evacuated by respective servo valves. An electrode component is brought in contact with a processing piece and a force is applied to compress the processing piece with the electrode component. The electrode is situated at an end of a piston rod coupled to a piston. An Independent claim is also included for a system of control of speed of a servo-control jack.
