A foldable cover of a vessel is provided to scoop out food stuffs simply as the entire or a portion of the cover is selectively opened or shut by an elastically deformable recessed groove and to keep the foodstuffs fresh for a long time. A foldable cover(20) of a vessel(10) has a sector cover(22) foldably connected by a folding and connecting unit(28) to open and close a portion of an opening part of the vessel containing foodstuffs such as salad. A locking annular rim(24) is formed at the inner side of the cover having the sector cover, and elastically deformed and locked to a locking annular groove(14) formed at the outer periphery of the opening part of the vessel. At least one elastically expandable recessed groove(26) is formed at the cover having the sector cover and curved inward along the outer periphery to guide elastic deformation of the locking annular. A reinforcing ring(27) is formed along the outer periphery of the cover to reinforce the edge of an end portion.
