A side sealing apparatus for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel is provided to supply an automation system for automatically processing a work for side sealing of a glass substrate used as a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) substrate, thereby improving workability and work efficiency, significantly improving even productivity and contributing to accuracy of liquid dispensation for sealing. In a base(10), first and second LM(Linear Movement) guides(11,12) are installed in width and length directions. An input/output unit(20) is coupled on the first LM guide of the base, moves left and right in a width direction, fixes a glass substrate(1) for sealing work within an apparatus and outputs the sealed glass substrate. A rotary unit(30) is coupled on the second LM guide of the base, moves back and forth in a length direction, and performs a rotation operation and location control so as to dispense sealing liquid to four sides of the glass substrate inputted within the apparatus. A dispensing unit(40) is installed on the base, and dispenses the sealing liquid to the sides of the glass substrate of which location is controlled by the rotation operation of the rotary unit. A hardening room(50) is installed on the base, and hardens the sealing liquid after the sealing liquid is dispensed by the dispensing unit. |
