<p>A superconducting magnet apparatus comprising a coil container for accommodating superconducting coils and liquefied cooling medium for cooling the coils down to the critical temperature or lower of a superconductor constituting the coils, a vacuum chamber for accommodating the coil container and for vacuum insulation from the atmosphere, and a conduit communicating the coil container at one end thereof and extending to the outside of the vacuum chamber at the other end. At least one heating device for heating the conduit is disposed at one or more positions of the conduit located within the vacuum chamber.
