<p>The device (20`) has an external transceiver device (10) transmitting and receiving wirelessly transmitted data e.g. technical data. A waking unit switches the transceiver device from a turned-off state into a fully operational state by a waking signal. A waking control unit outputs the waking signal to the transceiver device, if a low-power receiver outputs a sequence of output signals, which identifies that the low-power receiver has detected a series of transmissions of sufficient signal strength in various frequency ranges.</p> |
