The method involves reshaping a transparent and thermally reshaped sheet (12) serving as an outer skin, where the sheer includes a front side (14) and rear side. A translucent panel (18) is applied onto some areas of the rear side of the transparent sheet, where the panel is made of one of a transparent and a translucent material, and has a protective layer on a rear side of the panel. A wet application of paint is applied onto the rear side of the transparent sheet to form a coloring layer (22). The transparent sheet is provided with a foamed backing on the rear side.
