METHOD FOR PERFORMING RANDOM ACCESS PROCEDURE IN WIRELSS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method for performing a random access procedure in a wireless communication system is provided to map a random access identifier with a radio resource used when performing the random access procedure between a UE and a base station, so that the UE can immediately confirm that a random access preamble is its random access response and perform more efficient random access procedure. A method for performing a random access procedure in a wireless communication system comprises the following steps of: transmitting a random access preamble(S230); and receiving a random access replay indicated by a random access identifier mapped with radio resources used for transmitting the random access preamble as a response to the random access preamble(S240). The random access identifier is an identifier for identifying a UE(User Equipment) performing a random access procedure.
