High-rise fire fighting, rescue and construction equipment

For fire fighting and emergency rescue in high-rise buildings the building can be equipped with rails 4 on the outside of the building 5. The rails 4 have elevators 3, which travel on the rails 4 on the outside face of the building 5. Two elevators 3 travelling in unison and supporting a platform 24 extending therebetween can provide a corridor and or a scaffold for reaching anyplace on the face of a building 5. Other elevators or elevators with cranes 103 can be used on the rails 4 in combination with the elevators with the platform 24 to fight fires, rescue people from the upper floors of buildings or perform maintenance or construction tasks.
